Hi! My name is Sophia, and I’m currently attending Salve Regina University where I’m studying Education and minoring in Business. My first few weeks of college have been filled with so many new experiences, from meeting new people to starting my classes and getting involved on campus. I’m learning to embrace every new opportunity and make the most of this new chapter. I’m excited to continue pursuing my interests in education and business while working toward a future where I can make a difference in the lives of others. Laila Ciaramitaro

Hi! My name is Laila Ciaramitaro and I am currently enrolled at Merrimack College while pursiing a degree in Mechanical Engineeering. In the first few weeks of being on campus I have come across many new experiences, including meeting new friends, starting new classes, and getting involved on campus. I am also continuing my softball career on the club softball team at Merrimack. I am thrilled to continue my interests in engineering and to pave the way toward my future after college. I am incredibly greatful to the Dailey family for this scholarship and for being a part of this next chapter while also continuing to carry Chris's legacy with me forward.

My name is Keira O’Brien, and I’m currently attending Salve Regina University, where I’m studying Medical Laboratory Sciences. I am excited to begin my college journey and pursue a career in the medical field. Receiving this scholarship means so much to my family and me, and we are incredibly grateful to the Dailey family for their generosity and continued support. I hope to carry Chris’s legacy forward and make him proud by keeping his memory close as I begin this next chapter.

Kam Francis

Massachusetts Maritime Academy

My name is Kameron Francis, and I'm currently a student at Massachusetts Maritime Academy studying Marine Engineering. I'm part of the Navy Strategic Sealift Midshipman Program, which has given me the opportunity upon graduation to join the U.S. Navy as a Naval Officer while continuing my career in the maritime service. Receiving this scholarship has given me the great pride and honor to carry on Chris's legacy. Chris has been one of the very few reasons I was able to make it through the SSMP process with the Navy and the 6 orientation with great pride, discipline, and teamwork. Being around Chris instilled me with said characteristics and as mentioned before was one of the minimal reasons I was able to make it through. I would like to thank Chris and the Dailey family for making an impact in my career with not only the scholarship funding but Chris's personal values as well.

My name is Jaylen Severino, and I’m attending Salve Regina University, where I am playing football and currently undecided, although exploring multiple different fields of study such as criminal justice, finance, and business. I am extremely excited to begin my journey in college and build a foundation to lead a successful life.  Receiving this scholarship means the absolute world to me and my family and we can’t put into words to show our gratitude towards the Dailey family for everything they have done for me and everyone else. Hi! My name is Ashlyn Orlando, I am a student at Coastal Carolina University where I am studying Business Management! I will also be playing club Field Hockey here at coastal! I am honored to have been awarded the Christopher Dailey Scholarship, as Chris was planning on attending school here in the fall of 2025 I hope to keep his memory alive on campus! I am very thankful that the Dailey Family has helped me further my education and I’m excited to see where this next chapter takes me!

Isla Black

The Pennsylvania State University

While at Penn State, I have already received leadership positions as part of the programming board for the Blue and White Society–the student arm of the alumni association. This year, I will help organize networking events and service to the community. I am also involved in the Society of Women Engineers, and the Schreyer Honors College Student Council. I will be applying for a service chair position on the council in hopes to help fundraise for THON, the world's largest run student philanthropy. Every year, Penn State students raise funds for Four Diamond families with kids fighting pediatric cancer, and they also spend the last weekend in February participating in a no-sleeping, no-sitting, 46-hour dance marathon. Last year, the Student Council was able to raise $16,000 and Penn State as a whole raised over $18 million. After the school year, I hope to get an internship within biopharmaceutical engineering through some of the amazing connections I have already made.

Hi! My name is Louis Iacono, and I am a freshman at the University of Mississippi. I am currently studying General Business and thinking about getting a minor in Finance. I graduated from Rockport High School last spring, and I was very fortunate to receive the Chris Dailey Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship meant a lot to me and my family. It has given me even more motivation to work hard and make the most of my time at Ole Miss. I’m very thankful for the opportunity and hope to continue Christopher’s legacy throughout my college years.

Hi! My name is Caroline Lucas and I am attending The University of Rhode Island where I will be majoring in criminal justice. I have always found this area of study to be very interesting and something I can picture myself doing in the future. Receiving this scholarship was a huge deal to me, and I truly could not thank the Dailey family enough for everything they have done for me, especially during this hard time. Chris was a very special person to me, and it has given me strength and motivation with this transition.

While attending the University of New Hampshire, I am studying psychology with hopes of focusing on sports psychology. Growing up, sports were always a big part of my life, but with that came mental challenges. My goal after college is to work with athletes at all levels to understand how and why sports have such a big impact on mental health. In addition to my studies, I am planning to join the club tennis team as well as many other extracurricular clubs/activities at UNH. I am honored to be a recipient of the Chris Dailey Memorial Scholarship, and I am grateful for my family, friends, and the Dailey Family for their endless support.

My names Auraylia Lord, and I’m an incoming freshman at UMass Boston majoring in Entrepreneurship. My interest in entrepreneurship comes from my mom, who owns her own business. I've always watched how much time, effort, and dedication she puts into making her business successful, and she has always been someone I look up to. Seeing her build something of her own has inspired me to have that same dream for myself. At UMass Boston, I want to learn as much as I can about business, leadership, and what it takes to turn an idea into something successful. I am also looking forward to meeting new people and getting involved on campus. Receiving this scholarship means so much to me because it is helping me pursue an education that will bring me closer to the future I have always dreamed about and forever carry on Christopher with me.
